My first post on my brandnew website in English, not my mothertongue, but I’ll do my best. My stinking best!

The main reason I wanted a blog on my new website is because of my participation in

the Reflexions Masterclass the past year and a half.

I have met so many super interesting photographers and people from the field from all over the world.

Their work and the input during the meetings in different places in Europe three times a year have inspired me immensely.

Also I will keep you updated on my work. Since my book ‘Controle | in Control’ was published in 2009,

I have been maybe a bit quiet but I did not stand still. The result of this is my new ongoing project ‘All I understand’.

For me there is a lot to say about and still to do in my new personal project but I will share this with you some other time.

Please have a look for yourselves first!

Furthermore I will share with you the progress and process of my project on the Dutch nobility on which I am currently working.

Last but definitively not least! I will write about my experiences during assignments taking portraits and reportages for different clients.

The encounters I have can make me so happy.

Like this week the funny  85- year old lady who whilst photographing her, decided that the roles should be turned around.

And took my camera and photographed me instead!
